Review

This is our July house every year for our family and we love it. It has all the comforts of home and plenty of space with the bedrooms upstairs and living and kitchen downstairs. Both the owner and Vicki at Fl Keys vacations are always incredibly accommodating. Key colony is the best place to stay. Fuel, ice, bait, restaurants and bars all in the neighborhood and of course the cabana club pool is great.

There were several problems with the property. The kitchen faucet runs just a very small stream. Water line broke mid week that supplies water to the fish cleaning table and the hose. Called about this and left message and received no reply or repair. Seawall boards have no bumpers or handy cleats. Had difficult time being able to register at Cabana Club. Actually these are very minor things that could be handled with closer attention to details and someone wanting to make repairs.

Overall we really enjoyed this house. It was spacious and well furnished. The location was great both in terms of the water and the neighborhood. Easy access to anywhere you needed to go by car in Marathon. And super quick access to both Ocean and Gulf waters thru Vaca Cut by boat. The Wifi seemed to have an issue- very spotty and most of the time didn’t work. Also the rear slider had a tendency to lock behind us sometimes when we would close it. Lucky we had the house key on us so we could go back in the front door.  Outside of that we really enjoyed it.

Fisherman’s Delight was SPOT ON A TRUE DELIGHT! The Management company (Vicky)was fantastic when we had an issued problem was solved IMMEDIATELY! The only downfall was there was no snorkeling in the canals during the time we stayed! Besides that the cabana club was great and the pool was great after a full day on the water! Wish I could stay next year however, someone already booked it! Thanks for such a wonderful time………

We stayed for a week here in Key Colony. What a great get away. The house was big enough for our group of 7 and came with the cabana club membership. The cabana club was awesome, def enjoyed our trips to the pool. We used capt hooks a lot for snorkeling tours, they were very accomadating. Enjoyed fishing off the back patio every night, the kids coauthor countless little fish and had a blast! Already planning our next trip down!

We experienced no problems except the Dolphin weren’t biting. Vicki was professional and was available to answer any questions. The property was ideal for our needs.

The townhouse was the perfect size for our large family. The location was ideal, and Vicki was very professional. The only negatives were the absence of cleats for docking the boat and the beds weren’t the greatest, but served the purpose.

The house was very nice and spacious. It easily met our needs. The property was clean and well maintained. Everything went very well and the check in was as expected – no surprises. We especially enjoyed the screened in back patio and had breakfast there every day.

The townhome was more than we expected! The area is beautiful and close to all. This rental and its community has so much to offer. You have it all… The back has a beautiful view of canal the home is larger than life with a garage 3 bdr. 2 and a half bath, Clean spacious and even has a dock with a cleaning table lights water etc…The back porch is screened too. You will love it!!!!
